This paper summarises the progress in the inductive modelling domain. It describes the research of inductive methods starting with the GMDH, via the ModGMDH and finally the recent Group of Adaptive Models Evolution (GAME) is being introduced. The GAME evolves inductive models by means of niching genetics algorithm (Deterministic Crowding).
