The project is interested in secure data transmission over GPRS (General Packet Radio Service). For applications that need for their purpose secure data channel it is possible to use devices that support environment of J2ME (Java Micro Edition). More specifically it is needed that the devices support MIDP 2.0 (Mobile Information Device Profile). This profile implements application interface for SSL (Secure Socket Layer) that is usually used for banking applications. As a sample we developed applicationfor data transmission of medical data.
