This document is intended to facilitate the deployment of interoperable VDSL (Very-high speed Digital Subscriber Line) systems in carrier-class environments that follow Band Plans 998 or 997. It specifies the required tests that should be performed in order to verify the physical layer interoperability of the VDSL systems. It defines the interoperability tests for two line codes: Single- and Multi-Carrier-Modulation-based.
