    In this paper, a new method for stability analysis of discrete-time Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems (DTSFS) is developed. Based on searching piecewise quadratic Lyapunov functions that reduce conservatism of classical stability methods, the present approachverify stability via linear matrix inequalities (LMIs).
