Meromorphic Stabilization and Control of Time Delay Systems
Original language description
The objective of the paper is to overcome the conventional restriction to the field of rational functions in the algebraic design of control systems. By combining a shift of the undesirable poles to the left with an extension of an inverse-based affine parameterisation approach, an algebraic solution to time-delay system stabilization and control is opened for plants and controllers modeled by the so-called RQ-meromorphic functions, thus relaxing the often used assumption of commensurate delays. The design proposed results in an internally stable control loop involving both integrators and delayors in the controller's structure. Owing to this property, this controller is referred to as anisochronic.
