Deconvolution Algorithm
Original language description
We present a deconvolution algorithm which defines the unkown input reconstruction as a Bayesian estimation problem. The unknown input signal is considered to be a white noise process and its conditional mean value is evaluated by the algorithm proposed. The conditioning is based on the whole data set observed. We discuss several variants of the algorithm. The major proposed application of the algorithm is an extension of the residual analysis known from linear regression. This data-analysis approach isexplained on a combustion data analysis exapmple.
