Collinear Microstrip Patch Antenna

Result description

Paper deal with a novel type of so called collinear types of antennas realized in microstrip antenna technology. Principle of operation is in excitation of TM0x modes of patch antenna where x is odd number that stands for the number of resonant half current wavelength. Perturbation elements in the shape of lateral slots are placed in the structure of the patch in such a way that they eliminate radiation from even half current wavelengths. Resulting (x+1)/2 in-phase source areas ensure broadside radiation. Prototype of the antenna for frequency band 869 MHz has been realized and measured.

    Kolineární mikropásková flíčková anténa

    Článek pojednává o nové variantě tzv. kolineárních antén vytvořené v technologii mikropáskových antén. Princip činnosti spočívá ve vybuzení módů TM0x flíčkové antény, kde x je liché číslo představující rezonační počet půlvln proudové hustoty. Ve struktuře mikropáskové flíčkové antény jsou umístěny poruchové prvky ve tvaru štěrbin, které jsou umístěny příčně k podélné ose zářiče tak, aby eliminovali vyzařování sudých proudových půlvln. Zbývajících (x+1)/2 soufázových zdrojových oblastí zajistí příčné vyzařování antény. Prototyp antény pro pásmo 869 MHz byl realizován a jeho směrové vlastnosti ověřeny měřením.
