This paper deals with the possibility of checking the recombination rate distribution in the bulk of the solar cell structure over the area of power (large-area) solar cells from measured values of both short circuit current JSC (LBIC - Light Beam Initiated Current) and open circuit voltage VOC (LBIV - Light Beam Initiated Voltage) using local irradiation by monochromatic light of different wavelengths. The influence of the wavelength of the incident light applied on the method resolution are discussedhere.
