Paper deal with the design of dualband patch antenna with edge perturbation elements in the form of notches. Their size if need shape is modified by genetic algorithm. Perturbation element is generated by random proccess in a grid structure. Symetry andperiodicity of perturbation elements is used for tuning radiator for 2.4/5.8 GHz bands.
