In this paper the analytical study of a Point-to-Multipoint (PMP) system behavior during rainstorms is discussed. The proper utilization of the site diversity mechanism for two diversity links as well as in the complex point-to-multipoint system scenariois investigated. The yield of the site diversity utilization in terms of link lengths, angular separation and rain parameters is presented.
