Symbolic Analysis of Periodically Switched Linear Circuits
Original language description
This paper presents a method for frequency and time domain analysis of periodically switched linear (PSL) circuits. Applied method of analysis is based on modeling of periodically switched networks by mixed sz description. The method was implemented in program Maple in the form of Maple package with name PraSCAn. Current version of PraSCAn package provides for multiphase PSL circuits either fully symbolic analysis or symbolic analysis in the complex frequency (z and s) in dependence on circuit complexity. It can also provide closed form solution for time domain analysis. Results of analysis of switched capacitor biquad filter are shown.
