The article provides the description of design and implementation of transaction manager in CellStore project. CellStore project tries to implement XML-native DBSM. The transaction mechanism which is used in the project is adapted version of taDOM2 XML locking protocol. The CellStore project is developed in Smalltalk/X environment.
