To increase reliability of compensation capacitors banks, knowledge of capacitors internal temperature distribution is needed. Capacitor temperature profile prediction is possible, but practically complicated due to unknown parameters of mathematical model. Therefore basic experiments focused on temperature profile and power loses of compensation capacitor bank has been done.
