In this paper we describe possibilities of microwave energy utilization for drying or heating materials in the textile industry. We have designed several waveguide types of microwave industrial applicators. We describe here basic model waveguide applicator, results of numerical modeling and experimental measurement of drying characteristic and also another modification of this applicator. These industry applicators work at frequency 2.45GHz
