Simulation of Anticipatory Behavior in the Artificial Life Domain
Original language description
Our research is focused on simulation of behavior. The architecture of our agents is strongly inspired by nature therefore they are sometimes called artificial creatures. The main contribution of this paper is the description of designed simulation environment architecture for the Artificial Life (ALife) domain. It was named the World of Artificial Life (WAL). In addition this paper concerns about anticipatory architectures and presents some of our early experiments. Our simulation platform incorporatesresults of research in domain of hybrid agent architectures as well as biology and ethology. First, we formulate the problem we were solving and important goals. Further in this paper we describe the architecture of our simulator. We also introduce theterm "anticipation" in wider scope followed with interpretation of this term for ALife domain. After this we describe our preliminary anticipatory architectures.

Czech description
Tato naše platforma včleňuje výsledky výzkumu do domény hybridního agenta
