Compression systems have a remarkable importance in nowadays communication systems. They minimize the data volume of the audio file, thus reducing channel bandwidth and capacity storage costs. Nevertheless, the quality of service (QoS) is degraded because irrelevancies and redundancies of the signal are discarded. This degradation can be measurable either by subjective or objective procedures. Since available objective procedures are built on the same principles as the compression systems they do not represent a reliable tool for this evaluation. This work is then a contribution to subjective procedures of evaluation where two of them were used.
