Compact Band-stop Filter Using an Interdigital DGS Structure

Original language description

This paper introduces compact band-stop filters using interdigital DGS slots. The slots are etched in the ground under the 50-ohm microstrip transmission line. The two filters were realized by etching two and three slots. Both filters have lower cut-offfrequency at about 4.6 GHz, and higher cut-off frequency of 7.2 GHz. A good agreement was achieved between the simulated and measured results.
