The Coupled Problems in Power Engineering Applications
Original language description
Generally, coupled problems we call tasks characterized by mutual interaction of several physical fields. In heavy current and power engineering domains (characterized by low frequencies or slow time variations of electric and magnetic quantities) we suppose that the primary role in such tasks is played by the electromagnetic fields. The authors present several typical coupled problems in this area, show their mathematical and computer models, discuss the possibilities of their numerical solution and illustrate them on particular examples.
