Original language description

Cognitive psychology devotes considerable attention to eyes and their movements as a valuable source of information. Eyes reveal a lot about the observed person, e.g. the depth of his/her interest in the target is related to the length of the observationor to person's pupil diameter. The I4Control system is a new light-weight mobile device offering a possibility to record eye movements in natural conditions. We describe our pilot experiment where I4Control is used to provide some objective data about the judge during the experiments studying the judge's ability to infer personality attributions from facial features. This approach allows us to turn attention towards judge's personality and analyse its role in the considered task.

Czech description

Sledování očí je věnována v kognitivní psychologii značná pozornost. Pohyby očí prozradí mnoho o testované osobě, např. umožní hodnotit její míru zájmu o sledovaný objekt na základě délky doby sledování či poloměru pupily. Systém I4Control je nový lehkýa mobilní přístroj, který nabízí možnost záznamu očních pohybů v přirozených podmínkách. Příspěvek bude věnován popisu pilotního experimentu, ve kterém I4Control bude použit pro objektivizaci některých informací o hodnotiteli v rámci pokusů studujících schopnost přisuzovat osobnostní charakteristiky podle vzhledu tváře. Tento postup dovolí obrátit pozornost vědeckého výzkumu i na osobnost hodnotitele a její souvislost s úspěšností odhadování osobnostních charakteristik.
