Digital Oscillator Circuit Using Synchronous Pulse Driving

Result description

This paper presents a novel digital oscillator circuit for electromechanical resonant sensors. The circuit is based on the closed-loop system with synchronous pulse driving. The oscillation amplitude is stabilized by a sigma-delta controller. The described circuit is usable for most of resonant sensors, MEMS including. The circuit has very good dynamic properties therefore is very suitable for fast sensors.

    Příspěvek představuje nový digitální obvod oscilátoru určený pro elektromechanické rezonanční senzory. Obvod je zpětnovazební a používá synchronní pulzní buzení. Amplituda kmitů je stabilizována sigma-delta regulátorem. Popsaný obvod je použitelný pro většinu rezonančních senzorů, včetně MEMS. Obvod má dobré dynamické vlastnosti a je proto vhodný pro rychlé rezonanční senzory.
