Toolkit for EASYS2 EEG data format processing in Matlab, EEGLAB and sLoreta environment
Original language description
It was necessary to develop a set of Matlab functions for opening, editing and saving the EEG records in EASYS2 data format, the native EEG data format of EEG laboratory system. EEGLAB, an open source Matlab toolbox for electrophysiological research, iswidely spread system for EEG signal processing in Matlab. An plug-in for direct EASYS2 data file import was created as a part of our toolkit. Software sLoreta, low resolution brain electromagnetic tomography, solves inverse problem from surface EEG potentials. Calculated cross-spectra (cross spectral densities between all pairs of electrode potencials) are requested as the input. Matlab function for segmenting EASYS2 data file and generating cross-spectra was created. A complete toolkit connecting foursoftware tools was developed; it allows users without any additional knowledge to use the whole system as an one complex unit, handling complete chain of EEG signal processing from signal acquisition up to tomographic analysis.
