Original language description
In this paper we report an on-going effort about a dialog approach to several key application areas. The application areas cover modelling, control and monitoring in a sensor network environment. Each application area consists of a system of sensing andprocessing units. On top of these units is a dialog system that facilitates communication between units and users. From the dialog point of view the system must be built starting from components that are able to represent simple meanings without the human user. The role of the entire dialog system is to provide interactive approach to solving a variety or ordinary task and to evolve the system by absorbing declarative and procedural knowledge in a way that does not rely entirely on the user's interpretation.
