Planning of Ancillary Services Securing Power System

  • Original language description

This article deals with design and implementation of algorithm for planning of sufficient amount of ancillary services that ensures safe control of power balance in transmission system. The planning is performed by iteration method using branch and boundalgorithm. The output is a set of ancillary services that minimizes the cost for reservations and, at the same time, ensures power balance control with required reliability.
