At present time a very big progress proceeds in all branches of the software engineering field. Anyhow, one particular area is not under the enhanced focus of software developers and researchers. It is the area of the GUI formalization and modelling. Theaim of our article is to overcome this deficiency by the suggestion of lightweight formal method for the design of user interface by the GUI modelling based on the graph transformations of underlying conceptual data model. The proposed method gives us avery visual tool for our objective. In addition, our method is an innovative and original specification and modelling technique targeted primarily for a utilization of large and complex modern-day web based applications.
