    The experimental radio receiver of digitally modulated carrier (frequency shift keying, FSK) has been designed and constructed mainly to measure the detected sequences bit error rate (BER) dependency on the "integrate-and-dump" like demodulator samplingclock timing. The effect of sampling clock timing, sampling clock jitter, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and band-pass/low-pass filter transfer characteristic on the BER was evaluated. Based on the results, the receiver sensitivity to precise clock timingwas determined and the demands on the synchronization circuits were specified. The receiver is able to work with modulated signal bandwidth up to 120 kHz with adequate bit rate, however, the band-pass/low-pass filters are changeable to match desired modulating scheme. The radio receiver (after some modifications) partially supports a conference paper (indexed in Thomson ISI) focused on the measurements of the simultaneous angle and amplitude carrier modulation.
