Propagation Models for Planning Mobile Systems Provided via High Altitude Platforms
Original language description
With new satellite services, there is a demand to investigate the satellite-to-indoor and satellite-thru-vegetation channel propagation in L, S, and C bands. The aim of this paper is to describe the measurement campaign focused on penetration and attenuation loss measurements. The basic idea of this project was to use a remote-controlled airship as a pseudo-satellite. The measured data are currently being processed. In the final part the propagation models will be proposed.
