Simulation of Virtual Organization Performance
Original language description
This paper concentrates on simulation of a Virtual Organization (VO) management. The simulation is used for VO operational management and it takes place during the preparation for VO operation, the operation phase itself, and the evolution phase of the VO life-cycle. The simulation presented in this paper is built upon a multi-agent technology based concept of scheduling and rescheduling tool. In our simulation the agents act as competency cells that represent production centers and their constraints ofindividual VO members. Our simulation was utilized in a component a VO management toolkit. Its pilot implementation has been verified in real business environment.
