Sonification of EEG
Original language description
This paper deals with a relation between an aural perception and a brain activity monitored by electroencephalogram (EEG). Human aural processing is still not fully used for a scientific purpose. EEG signals pulse on lower frequencies than the range of audible spectrum is. The aim of our research is to extract data and parameters from EEG signals, transform them to an audible spectrum and generate artificial sounds. This process is called sonification. Other part of the research is an analysis of subjects´ biofeedback to an acoustic perception. Sonification is a good instrument for this analysis.
