Several approaches of ultra-short optical pulse replication in a fiber are analyzed in the paper. Aspects of one pulse replication as well as a pulse-pair replication are discussed more in detail. Based on measurement and simulation results the specificsfor replicator utilization in the regenerative resonator configuration are proposed.
