On Design of Channel Parameter Invariant FSK in Two-Way Relay Channel
Original language description
We focus on modulation design suitable for physical network coding in two-way wireless relay channel. Wireless channel is necessarily parametric and there may exist such parameters which worse the system performance. We show several conditions that mustfulfill hierarchical exclusive code to avoid parameter caused performance degradation regardless of used alphabet. Based on Euclidean metric measure, we show that binary alphabet regardless of dimensionality is parameter invariant and higher than binarycardinality can not be invariant if we use any scalar linear modulation. Based on this observation we choose the simplest non-linear multi-dimensional Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) modulation and find the conditions that ensure the invariance even for non-orthogonal case. The invariant schemes are verified by parametric minimal Euclidean distance evaluation. At the end some ad-hock designed continuous phase FSK are shown that are also very well parameter resistant.
