Trends in Hybrid Propulsion Concepts
Original language description
Nowadays many different types of hybrid propulsion systems exist. For independent traction, i.e. automotive drive systems especially, energy storage of driving medium is essential. The main task of hybrid propulsion is to diminish or totally eliminate green house gas (GHG) emissions. The other task is to substitute traditional fuel media like gasoline and other fossil fuels by alternative fuels with wide spread production possibility.
