    Rotary pressure reduction in power systems

  • Original language description

    The papers describe possibility of using rotary reduction instead of reduction valves to reduce pressure of working media (usually water steam) and to perform mechanical work. The rotary steam reduction represented by voluminous steam engine allows usinga pressure drop for production of electricity in contradistinction to common used reducing valve. Mathematical model of the small steam piston combined heat and power unit was created in Mathematica? system. This mathematical model describes real combined heat and power system and also includes model of asynchronous generator on a common shaft. It allows to exam impact on the power grid and shall consequently serve to study functional affections of a real engine.
