190 Years with Galvanometers
Original language description
Galvanometer is one of the oldest and most principal devices for indication and measuring of low voltages and small electric currents. It uses electromagnetic principle and it was used mostly for measurements in the realm of physics. The current passingthrough the coil of galvanometer causes the deviation of the indicator (either mechanical or optical). It is a predecessor of analog measuring devices with rotating coil.
