The optimization process depends on the type of topology, primarily on the balance of attenuation and several other features.Considering the possibility of optimization, passive optical network with a bus topology provides several interesting opportunities for specific applications. Its potential application is for example, the network infrastructure in large buildings and industrial centers and base stations of mobile networks connections in the bus topology along the highway or railway networks.
