Free Space Optical systems introduce prospective technology for fast data trans- missions; nevertheless atmosphere radically in°uences availability of these systems. Between one of the highest affections belongs rain attenuation. The paper discuses several aspects dealing with route diversity utilization in Free Space Optical network. Based on simulations particular link deployment cases were analyzed.
