    Link Power Control Algorithm for Energy Consumption Reduction in AMM Powerline Networks

  • Original language description

    Paper resumes previous research related to the data forwarding in power line communication especially for automatic meter reading and advanced metering management systems. It briefly presents the simulation tool, the routing algorithm and its advances since previous version. It summarizes some simulated results and proposes the link power control scheme. The link power control is a crucial component in the power line protocol stack, which is necessary for the routing algorithm performance. The power control algorithm itself is described in the paper. Routing algorithm performance using proposed power control algorithm will be showed at the end of the paper and compared to the previous results without link power optimization in the similar network scenarios.
