This paper deals with the design of the control structure for the drive with the voltage source inverter and permanent magnet synchronous motor. The control structure is designed with the impact on the dynamic of the regulation. The model of the drive consists of the two level inverter model and from the mathematical model of the permanent magnet synchronous motor. Two control strategies of the drive are discussed in the paper
