Control Part Design for the 2nd Generation Matrix Converter Prototype
Original language description
This article describes the former configuration of the control part for the experimental matrix converter and it introduces proposals for the next configuration generation as well. The former target system consists of a common personal computer, I/O card, rack, and the power circuit. Based on its overall assessment, a new configuration approach is proposed. The new system configuration promises many improvements. The communication between the control computer and the low level logic is based on the industrial PC104 bus. A new FPGA device is employed. It enables to handle all digital signals in the same time
