Original language description
The purpose of this paper is to introduce mobile learning (m-learning) as an interesting application of modern communication technologies and truly ubiquitous computing, but also as an alternative to conventional distance learning approaches that rely onstandard computers. This introduction is illustrated using an example of Leonardo da Vinci "MLARG" international project. The final part of the paper is dedicated to a discussion about rich media and multimedia content, its usability in mobile environment, and also the proper preparation of its prospective authors for their role.
