Advanced education in the digital signal processing at the Department of Telecommunication Engineering of Czech Technical University in Prague is introduced. The practical training based on digital signal processors is emphasized. Three laboratory tasksare presented. The long-year experience is summarized. Intentions for further improvements of the education are outlined. Several recommendations are presented.
