    Library for Collision Detection Between Convex Shapes

    The libccd library provides state-of-the-art algorithms for collision detection between arbitrary convex objects. The older algorithm GilbertJohnsonKeerthi + Expand Polytope is available and so is a newer algorithm called Minkowski Portal Refinement, which isn't available in any other open source implementation so far. One of the goal of the project was to extend the open source physics library ODE -- the most widespread library for physical simulations both in research and in practice. This library lacked several collision detectors that were successfully supplemented by the libccd library.
