Controlling Coverage Using New Concept of Pre-Installed Infrastructure
Original language description
This paper focuses on controlling coverage inside buildings via a new concept of Pre-Installed Infrastructure (PII) inside buildings based on the Distributed Antenna System (DAS). The new concept is based on the entire infrastructure, such as cables andantennas, being pre-installed during the construction of the building to form a large (Pre-) Distributed Antenna System. The system significantly decreases additional costs caused by any change in a building and controls coverage based on the user's position. Further, a new 3D semi-deterministic propagation model utilized for simulations of the PII influence is briefly described.
