History of Radio Receivers in Czech Republic
Original language description
The development of radio was mainly influenced by the improvement of electronic tubes. Production of radio receivers at that time required a knowledge of many tech-nologies, not just electronics and significantly contributed to the development of a variety of specialized professions. The best military equipment were fitted with tubes in World War II, not only radios but also radars for example. Even today tubes are an important component of electronic devices.
