Original language description
Polynomial equation of 8th order with complex roots was solved numerically. First of all the Generalized Buneman Dispersion Relation was converted into the nondimensional form which ensures the scale invariance of the problem, which means that the results can be used both for laboratory and astrophysical plasmas. Afterwards the dispersion relation had been solved for the angular frequency via algorithm suggested by Hubbard, Schleicher, and Sutherland.
