Modelling of Real Acoustic Echo and Environmental Noise Background in Smartphone Devices
Original language description
This paper describes a procedure for a simulation of an acoustic echo and a noise background which is supposed to be used in a development of echo cancellation methods. An artificially created signal simulates a real echo in smartphone devices by a basicMA model and an additive environmental noise using an AR model which were created from utterance recordings available in the Czech SPEECON database. An estimation of the acoustic echo and noise background parameters was based on real recordings from several available real smartphones signals. For mentioned modelling, an user-friendly tool using MATLAB Graphical User Interface was created. It enables an easy control of particular parameters of modelling, commonly with graphical feedback and a possible listening of created artificial smartphone signals.
