Original language description
A new photonic crystal fiber for compensating of group velocity dispersion is proposed. Optimal dispersion properties for potential broadband utilization have been achieved for the air-holes in the first ring being located close to the fiber's core. Thediameter of remaining rings of air holes is huge related to the dimensions of holes in the first ring. This results in low confinement loss, which exhibits exponential character upon wavelength.
