This article introduces the basic parameters of ADSL2+/VDSL2 data link at higher layers (packet delay, packet loss). Based on gained results, a practical experiment was performed using real xDSL network and TDM over IP gateway. Measurements covered transmission loss, transmission delay, bit error rate.
