Evaluation of Novel Biomarkers in Patients with Acute Kidney Injury
Original language description
lacental growth factor (PlGF), pregnancy-associated plasma protein-A (PAPP-A), soluble receptor for advanced glycation end products (sRAGE) and calcium binding protein S100A12 (EN-RAGE) have been implicated as novel biomarkers in chronic kidney disease (CKD). However, their clinical significance in acute kidney injury (AKI) is unknown. The aim of this cross-sectional study was to determine whether selected biomarkers are elevated in AKI patients.
