The presented paper deals with the proposal and construction of precision resistive divider, which is designed to measure DC voltages up to 10 kV with low uncertainty of divider ratio, with the possibility of extension to higher voltages. The goal was toprovide a precision measurement of DC voltage at which the expanded uncertainty (k = 2) is less than 20 ppm. The value of the measurement uncertainty was determined based on a survey of the existing parameters of domestic laboratories and test-rooms, where the measurement uncertainty is about two orders of magnitude larger.
