This document discusses ability of using artificial intelligence methods in estimating performance of companies with focus on energy sector. There will be presented current state of the problematic and possibilities of extension using new techniques andtools. The main emphasis will be put on creating concept of company health model based on inputs from publicly available information. This includes identifying available data sources, selecting of variables which will be used as inputs in the model.
